The hardest decision I'll face in the next 30 days is choosing the people I'll work with to hit the company goals we've already set, and then working out with them the activities that will get us there. The goals are clear. What's left to decide is who to bring in and how to build the path together. How it connects to my fears. I'm afraid of bringing on people who aren't fully bought into the project. I'm afraid of putting more pressure on the team than necessary because I want to hit the goals so badly. And I'm afraid we won't test the activities fast enough to know what actually gets us to the results. How it connects to my dreams. I dream of a tight-knit team that fully believes in the cause and works hard to reach our goals, as if each of them were a founder.
